We welcome abstracts for short presentation (10 minutes followed by 5 minutes discussion) on the topic of how aspects of archaeological research can or could inform language origins studies. Abstracts must relate to material culture found within the Palaeolithic record e.g. the interpretation of particular artefacts, and explicitly discuss connections to language in as specific terms as possible.
Short abstracts (maximum 200 words) should be sent to Dr. Cory Marie Stade (firstname.lastname@example.org) before
Thursday 30th November Friday 8th December. Successful applicants will be informed before Friday 15th December, with a provisional timetable (with accepted abstracts) following shortly after.
Those who are not presenting are still invited to take part in the workshop.
